The Horse Universe wasn't created by a travel agency.
I created it because I couldn't find the kind of platform I was looking for myself.
A rider before anything else
Horses have been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
Years ago, I joined horseback riding holidays both in Hungary and abroad with a wonderful group of friends. Then life became busier. Work, family and three children meant that taking a full week off became increasingly difficult.
At the same time, I realised I wasn't the only one.
Many riders dream of exploring new landscapes on horseback, but a week-long holiday isn't always realistic. Sometimes all you need is three or four riding days to disconnect from everyday life, recharge, and return home with memories you'll never forget.
That realisation changed the way I looked at horseback riding holidays.
Not everyone is searching for the same experience. Some riders want an epic week-long adventure. Others are simply looking for an unforgettable long weekend. That's why one of the specialities of The Horse Universe is carefully selected 3–5 riding day experiences — alongside longer holidays for those who have more time to spend in the saddle.
Why The Horse Universe exists
My background in marketing taught me another important lesson.
The best businesses aren't always the most visible ones.
Across Europe, there are passionate family-run riding centres and local guides creating extraordinary horseback riding experiences. They know their horses, they know their trails, and they genuinely care about their guests.
Yet many of them remain almost invisible outside their own country.
On the other side are riders.
People who spend hours searching through Google, Facebook groups, blogs and travel forums, trying to figure out which destinations they can trust.
At some point, everything clicked.
I realised these two worlds simply needed someone to connect them.
That's why I created The Horse Universe.
A place where riders can discover carefully selected horseback riding holidays without spending weeks searching the internet.
And where exceptional local providers finally receive the international visibility they deserve.
How I choose the tours you'll find here
Every horseback riding holiday featured on The Horse Universe has been selected with one simple question in mind:
Would I genuinely choose this experience for myself?
I don't choose tours because they're trendy.
I don't choose them because they're the cheapest.
And I certainly don't include them simply because someone wants to be listed.
What matters to me is something much more meaningful.

- Responsible partners I trust.
- Beautiful riding routes.
- Breathtaking scenery.
- Experiences that I would happily recommend to my own friends.
Because I believe that's exactly what every rider deserves.

The Horse Universe isn't about offering hundreds of tours.
It's about helping you discover the right one.
The one you'll remember years from now.
Whether it's galloping along the beaches of Sardinia, riding through mountain trails you've never heard of before, or exploring hidden landscapes with people who love horses as much as you do.
I believe the best horseback riding holidays aren't always the most famous ones.

Looking ahead
The Horse Universe is still only at the beginning of its journey.
I'll continue searching for authentic destinations, trusted local partners and unforgettable horseback riding experiences across Europe and beyond.
My goal has never been to build the biggest horseback riding marketplace.
My goal is much simpler.
To help more riders discover extraordinary adventures, support passionate local providers, and create memories they'll still be talking about years later.
Because the best journeys don't end when you dismount.
They stay with you long after you return home.
